This short film depicts the story of Declan Johnston a newly signed professional boxer from Birmingham awaiting his debut. The film provides a snapshot of his story so far and shows how Covid-19 has impacted his career. A year on from when he was first signed he is still awaiting his first professional bout.

Working with Ash was an absolute pleasure and a breeze. He is extremely versatile coming up with solutions to possible issues. His pace of work is great as well, from working together on a short documentary film, he went the extra mile and wasn’t satisfised until we got ‘that shot’ in the bag!

Not only from a production standpoint, personality wise he works well with talent and listens and takes careful consideration getting the best from the talent in frame. This will hopefully first of many projects we collaborate on together.
