I collaborated with Ash as Director of Photography on my BFI Network short film Barricade. Despite not having very long to prep before production Ash was able to deliver and improve upon the visuals I had imagined.

 

This is down to Ash’s clear communication, attention to detail, and vast technical experience. During the shoot, Ash effectively managed the camera department and ensured everyone in our cast felt comfortable. As our cast consisted largely of teenagers and we were making a film about a sensitive subject this was vital.

 

I knew Ash was someone I could trust with creating a supportive but focused set. Within a tight production schedule, Ash was able to move quickly without compromising on quality. I hope we have the opportunity to work together again.”
